What is collected, and what is not.
Nicely Web Design is a one person business in Raleigh, North Carolina. This page describes exactly what happens to information sent through this website. It is short because very little is collected.

The short version. This site runs no analytics, sets no tracking cookies, and carries no advertising pixels. Nothing follows a visitor around the internet after they leave.
The only personal information collected is what someone deliberately types into the audit form, and it is used to reply to that person about their own website. It is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
What the audit form collects
The form on the homepage asks for four things and one optional one:
- Clinic name and clinic website, so the right site is audited
- Your name and email address, so the findings can be sent back
- Notes, optional, if there is something specific to look at
That is the entire list. No phone number is required, no address, no payment details, and nothing about the business's patients or finances.
Where that information goes
Submissions are delivered by Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which passes the message to a Nicely Web Design email inbox hosted by Google Workspace. Those two providers handle the message in transit and store it as email would normally be stored.
Submissions are not added to a customer database, a CRM, or a mailing list. There is no newsletter to be signed up for. If a reply is sent and the conversation ends there, the email simply sits in an inbox.
What is never done with it
- It is never sold, rented, or traded
- It is never shared with another agency, lead broker, or advertiser
- It is never used to add anyone to a marketing list they did not ask for
- It is never used to contact a business by text message. Emails only, unless a phone conversation is invited
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics software. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising retargeting, and no session recording. That is why there is no cookie banner on this site. There is nothing to consent to.
Two third parties do receive a request when a page loads, which is normal for any website and unavoidable without hosting copies of everything:
- Vercel, which hosts the site, keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and reliability purposes
- Google Fonts, which serves the two typefaces the site uses, receives the request for those font files
Google Search Console is connected to this domain. It reports aggregate search performance, such as which queries the site appeared for. It does not identify individual visitors and Nicely Web Design cannot see who they are.
Websites built for clients
When Nicely Web Design builds or maintains a website for a clinic, contact form submissions on that site go directly to the clinic's own inbox. Nicely Web Design does not store, administer, or read the clinic's patient enquiries.
Clinic websites are not medical record systems and should not be used as one. If a practice wants a form that collects treatment or health information, that is a conversation to have before the work starts rather than after, because it changes what the site has to do.
What happens during an audit
An audit reads the publicly available pages of a clinic's website, exactly as any search engine would. It does not require a login, does not access any account, and does not touch anything that is not already published to the open internet.
Findings from audits are sometimes described in anonymous, aggregate form, for example "84% of clinics audited have no city in the page title." Individual clinics are never named publicly without written permission from that clinic.
How long things are kept
Audit enquiries are kept as email for as long as the conversation may reasonably be useful, and are deleted on request. Client project files are kept for the duration of the working relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards so that a site can be handed back or restored.
Your choices
You can ask at any time for a copy of what is held about you, for it to be corrected, or for it to be deleted. Email hello@nicelywebdesign.com and it will be handled. No form, no account, no hoops.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. No information is knowingly collected from children.
Changes to this statement
If what is collected ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. If a change is significant, anyone with an active project is told directly rather than left to notice.
